KIDDERMINSTER Harriers can today confirm that manager Mark Yates has offered new contracts to six members of his squad.

Strikers Iyseden Christie and Matthew Barnes-Homer have both been offered fresh terms for next season, along with wingers Brian Smikle and Simon Russell.

Goalkeeper Dean Coleman and midfielder Andy Ferrell have also been offered new deals.

Meanwhile, three players have been informed that they will not be offered contracts for next season. Central defender Jon Munday will be leaving the club, whilst left-back Jonny Harkness will be departing after agreeing to sign for Irish side Linfield.

Additionally, Michael Blackwood will be leaving the club after spending the second half of the season on-loan at Oxford United.

"We wish these players good look in their future careers," boss Mark Yates told harriers.co.uk this afternoon.

"We'd like to thank them for all of their efforts during their time with the club."

Yates confirmed that talks are still ongoing with goalkeeper Chris MacKenzie, and defender Gavin Hurren, who are both also out of contract.

We'll bring you more information on this shortly, whilst the comments of boss Mark Yates on all the comings and goings will appear on harriers.co.uk tomorrow.

The club's on-loan players have all returned to their parent clubs following the end of the season.

Darryl Knights, Dean Bennett, Alex Jeannin, Michael Wylde, and Jake Moult have all returned to their own clubs.

"I'd like to place on record my thanks to all of the players we've had on loan for their efforts," Yates added.

"We'll be speaking to them in the future once the situations with their parent clubs have been sorted."

Yates already has Mark Creighton, Michael McGrath, Paul Bignot, Russell Penn and Justin Richards on contract for next season.
