Trigger Makes Harriers Exit
The official website can confirm that out-of-contract defender Gavin Hurren has been released.
Hurren has remained in talks with boss Mark Yates following the end of the season, but it has today been revealed that the former Nottingham Forest youngster will not be offered new terms.
"There were one or two things we had left to talk about and in the end it was decided it was best for all parties if Gavin goes to play football elsewhere," Manager Yates told harriers.co.uk.
"I'd like to thank him for his efforts during his time with us, and we all wish him the best for his future career."
Hurren first joined the club in the summer of 2005, and leaves having made 101 appearances in three seasons, scoring eight goals - the last of those coming in the 4-1 win over Burton in the last home game of the season.
