ST ALBANS City were relegated after just one season in the Nationwide Conference after drawing at fellow-strugglers Tamworth today.

City are rock-bottom of the Conference and today's results mean that they are down after just one campaign in non-league's top flight.

Harriers' fans will be all too aware that St. Albans started the season with a huge bang  - a 3-1 win at Aggborough but, after then it's just never really clicked for Colin Lippiat and his men.

Southport currently look the most likely to join them as they struggle in 23rd place, but Tamworth and Halifax also occupy relegation places as of tonight.
