Woking Vs. Harriers - Match Preview...
Kidderminster Harriers will go looking to end the 2007-08 Blue Square Premier season with a first victory over Woking since January 2006 tomorrow.
Earlier this season, the Cards scored a late equaliser in the league game at Aggborough to secure a 1-1 draw, whilst last term they picked up two victories over Harriers, winning 1-0 at Aggborough and 3-0 at the Kingfield Stadium.
It was back in Mark Yates' first game in charge of Harriers in early '06 that tomorrow's visitors last tasted success over the Surrey outfit; a 1-0 away victory given to them by Jonny Mullins' goal.
But Harriers go into this game in good form - the defeat to Weymouth last weekend the only real down point of a great recent run.
It's been a campaign of struggle for Woking, who parted company with their Manager Frank Gray earlier in the campaign - former Grays boss Justin Edinburgh and ex-St Albans' Chief Colin Lippiatt are currently in charge as the side sit 18th in the Blue Square Premier, their last outing a 1-1 draw at relegated Droylsden.
For tomorrow's game, Harriers are likely to have a fully-fit squad to select from. Apart from being a bit battered and 'ugly' according to boss Yates, striker Iyseden Christie suffered no lasting damage from a nasty bang to the mouth in the midweek win against Burton Albion.
Michael Wylde is expected to recover from a slight calf injury, whilst Yates admitted that Plymouth loanee Jake Moult could be in line for a first appearance in a Harriers shirt tomorrow.
The utility player, who has already been told he will not be kept on by Argyle next season, was kept out of the squad for the Burton game through injury.
Alex Jeannin is expected to recover from an illness to be available for selection.
Meanwhile, defender Tom Hutchinson and striker Jason Norville are doubts for the Cards.
Supporters are reminded that tomorrow's game kicks off at 5:15pm.
