Full Time: Harriers 2-2 Plymouth
A well-placed header by substitute Justin Richards helped Harriers on their way to a lively 2-2 draw with Championship side Plymouth Argyle at Aggborough.
The Pilgrims sent out a strong side for their final game prior to their tour of Austria, whilst Mark Yates fielded a useful looking starting XI of his own.
The first goal of the night arrived on the half-hour mark - Martin Brittain's dangerous free-kick was headed into the ground by Matthew Barnes-Homer, flicked on by Darryl Knights before being headed past Graham Stack in the Argyle goal by Michael BOWLER.
The lead didn't last too long, however - former Exeter City marksman Jamie MACKIE has caused Harriers enough problems in the past and crashed a bullet header past Adam Bartlett from Jim Paterson's cross.
Just after the hour-mark, substitute Marco Addagio found himself one on one with Stack but the former Arsenal stopper pulled off a good save with his feet. Knights was on hand to pick up the ball but fired his follow-up over the bar.
With 67 minutes on the clock, the hosts re-took the lead; Knights floated a fine ball into the box that was met by the head of RICHARDS.
Richards set up fellow sub Brian Smikle for what looked a certain third for Harriers but the former West Brom winger lacked composure in his finish.
With just over a quarter of an hour to go, Paterson again crossed into the box where MACKIE out-jumped sub Dean Coleman to head home Plymouth's second equaliser.
