Yates to Wait on Bartlett Knock
Adam Bartlett will be assessed by Kidderminster Harriers physio Peter Dugmore today as Mark Yates waits to find out whether or not the shot-stopper will be fit enough to face Barnstaple on Friday after picking up a knock in training.
The former Blyth Spartans man missed last night's 2-0 defeat to Yeovil in the Errea South West Challenge Cup after sustaining the injury in training, but is not expected to be out for a significant amount of time.
Luke Jones started last night's game after recovering from a knee injury and should be fit to keep his place, whilst Mark Creighton is expected to make his return in tomorrow's fixture after time on the sidelines.
Orlando Smeekes and Lloyd Owusu scored for Yeovil in their win over Harriers last night, but Yates remained upbeat after the final whistle, saying: "If we had took the chances that we had we would not have lost.
"The fitness of the lads was clear to see and I think we are looking good for the new campaign."
The official website will once again carry a match report at full-time of tomorrow's match at Barnstaple. Kick-off is at 8:00pm.
