Nicknamed 'Scholesy' - former Hull City Youth Team midfielder Simon Russell is now in his fourth season at Aggborough Stadium, making him Kidderminster Harriers' longest-serving player.
Arriving in the summer of 2004 originally after making one first-team appearance for Hull - ironically against Kidderminster - Russell has gradually etched his way into the first-team picture and after being a familiar face on the substitute's bench for a season or so, he's now one of the most frequent names in the starting eleven.
A strong goal provider, Russell will again look to provide crucial service to the Harriers' front-men this season. His current deal keeps him at the club until the summer of 2008.
