Boss: Other Teams Would've Caved In

HARRIERS boss Mark Yates spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester following today's game at Exeter on his team's goal and performance and the sending off of Reuben Reid.
Russ Penn's early goal...
"Our away performances have been good and we always want to get off to a good start - I thought Rob Davies has played a great ball and I had a feeling Russ might score out there today.
"He creates chances for himself and for the team and takes up some good positions, he tucked it away nicely.
"I told the lads what I wanted from them at half time and they carried it out brilliantly, I thought even when we were down to ten men we looked the more likely to win the game."
Reuben Reid's red card...
"It was a sending off - Reuben has put his face into their lad's but [Chris Todd] didn't need to do what he did.
"Reuben has gone down easily but you don't need to go and taunt him and give him that, I was disappointed with that, their gamesmanship has got him sent off.
"But Reuben has to learn from that - although he's a Championship player he needs to learn that players will do that to you, at this level let alone the one he wants to play at."
Second half performance...
"The lads showed a lot of character and a lot of spirit especially when we were down to ten men, we've become more resilient and cohesive, they're starting to believe what we've been telling them.
"A lot of teams would've caved in under the pressure we had today but as I said we could have won it in the end."
